Florian Stöckle

Florian is a German and European patent attorney. With his interdisciplinary background in mechanical engineering, electronics, and software development, he advises and supports clients in the development, protection, and commercial exploitation of technical innovations. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analyses, innovation harvesting, and IP licensing.
Florian has specialized technical expertise in the fields of software and artificial intelligence, industrial automation, and automotive engineering. His combination of classical engineering with a deep understanding of modern software technologies enables him to accurately grasp even complex and interdisciplinary inventions and translate them into sound intellectual property strategies. Florian studied mechanical engineering and electronics at the University of London. He then spent three years working in software development in Japan. This practical experience at the intersection of hardware and software continues to shape his advisory work to this day, particularly with regard to computer-implemented inventions, AI applications, and networked technical systems.
